It is the vision of the Franklin County Detention Facility to be the model of a small county adult detention facility and represent the best attributes of the community by providing correctional services that are fair, impartial, effective and in compliance with state and national standards.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Franklin County Detention Facility to protect society by confining inmates in controlled environments that are safe, humane, cost-efficient, appropriately secure, and provide effective supervision.

It is our desire that through available programs and the efforts of our staff; that we return to society productive citizens who will not recidivate.
